About Me

I’m a graphic designer, Spanish instructor and aspiring travel journalist who writes about all the fun and adventure that Honolulu, Guam and Saipan has to offer. I live for art, music & learning about people of all ethnicities and cultures.

I like to say that my mixed heritage does not necessarily dilute my strong ethnic upbringing and culture(s), but it somehow blends in and comes together when I write. I’m an ethnic cocktail, thanks to my parents, and I intend on learning everything I can about people who have made their cultural mark on Hawaii – all while learning about my own mixed heritage.

I graduated with my Master’s degree in Spanish (I have a BA in Journalism & Spanish) in May 2011. I’m currently teaching español, designing t-shirts for the Nerdy Culture and promoting cultural & art events.
