I’ve often participated in the growing concern for today’s society, yet I’ve been exposed to so many shocking events and human behaviors that I’ve become slightly numb and calloused to certain events. Still, there is always some kind of worry in the back of my head about our society and how we are developing as functional citizens.

This concept of la preocupación de nuestra sociedad is something to think about when you visit this exhibition at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. 

It’s titled Anxiety’s Edge: View from the Dark Side and features artists Dennis Oppenheim, Francis Bacon and Andy Warhol.
