My mom saved my life this past week. She did my laundry (cc: @kevinski_m), cleaned the house and cooked for me. Then we had lots of mother-daughter dates, including a special birthday dinner. I. Am. A. Mess. . . . . . I miss you already, Kevvvy. Going home without you only reminds me of how incomplete my life will be. I am so grateful for this past week. Who would have thought I’d have the best trip of my life in just a week? There is no one like you. We hit the ground knocking off places on our list, had spontaneously fun times and made time to relax. Imagine if the weather wasn’t as freezing...we’d have doubled the number of items on our itinerary. . . . I love you. Please be safe. FaceTime me always. 🤓 This is me and Kevin pretending we’re transfer students at the Universität Wein. 😆 Finally checked this gorgeous library off my list. [Will post a better photo of the library itself once we download all of our photos off the DSLR.] —————————————— 🧐 It was quite an experience visiting the Austrian National Library! We saw lots of young students there, even elementary students who not only understood the magnificence of the artwork and architecture of this “royal” library, but the importance of the old texts a team of conservators work tirelessly to restore and preserve. I’ve never seen kids listen so intently and be interested in books and history during a field trip. You can tell they had a good teacher. Although we couldn’t understand her German, she was telling a story with such passion and animation that even we couldn’t help but listen. 📚📖📙📚📖📙 —————————————— 👚 Sweater from @edeninloveboutique kept me warm on this snowy and windy day.
