La Muse is a new shop that opened about a month ago downtown. I’ve had the honor of meeting boutique owner Julie Chu while I was browsing the extensive collection of art and design books. [Books are always 10% off] She helped me pick out this cute cropped shirt, a collaborative tee by two designers Tiny Whales & Love Nail Tree.

I also picked up a Magma sketchbook on my way to the register. Although I only design tees, the sketchbook is also functional for illustrators and graphic designers such as myself.

La Muse also sells intricate jewelry and accessories. It’s my new guilty pleasure while shopping downtown!
