I’ve always been a fan of funky accessories. Lately, pom poms have been showing up on necklaces like Nicole Akong’s conquistador collection, scarves and even earrings. Recently, I’ve discovered these tribal, ingeniously crocheted hats by Latvian artist Irita Too.
Too is also an illustrator, painter and a tattoo artist.
She calls her hats UTHA hats, which stand for the spirit of freedom, “ribbons wind-blown on the hilltop… motion.. shamans, wrestlers, wizards.. brides and bank robbers…”
